Endo/Exothermic Activity
Description
Participants will explore how endothermic reactions absorb energy from their surroundings, causing a temperature decrease, while exothermic reactions release energy, resulting in a temperature increase.
Through direct observation and hands-on experimentation, individuals will learn how energy flows during chemical changes, how temperature shifts indicate energy transfer, and how these reactions occur in everyday life.
This engaging demonstration highlights the key differences in energy flow, enthalpy change (ΔH), and real-world examples, helping participants better understand how chemistry explains the heating and cooling processes we experience around us.
